A Latte at the Intercontinental costs $7

So you would expect their buffet lunch to be a gastronomic indulgence, out stripping the best Michelin experiences possible.

Unfortunately it was nothing more than average, nothing more than some decent seafood , dry roasts and a desert selection which was plentiful in number, but lacked a knocked out cake to make anyone come ...read more

we went for the seafood buffet recently. 30% off if you go with 3 people or not, which is great value (especially for a weekday). Good choice of seafood with fresh prawns, crab, oysters, muscles.

Really cool option for breakfast. It felt indulgent to dine inside the intercontinental without actually being a guest. The price was high but the food was spectacular- there were many fine condiments with my omelette and my friends croissant.

Really fancy place to be, the view is amazing and the atmosphere inside is just class. Loved the service, which was attentive and the food was all amazing.

Went to cafe opera last night for my birthday and opted for the buffet. The selection is overwhelming and its hard to decide where to start! I loved trying bits of everything from sushi, roasts, seafood, pasta and salad.. then the amazing dessert selection and ice cream..yum. Staff were very courteous and professional, they must of been sick of refolding our napkins with the amount of times we got up for more food. Stand outs were the gnocchi, roast lamb, honey (with real honeycomb!) and the creamy home made ice cream.
