I went there for a simple breakfast, after all, who can't get poached eggs on toast right?!! The eggs came out hard boiled and the toast was under cooked. There was no love in this meal. The waitress was an older lady who looked like she could be a family memeber to the owners and she had a bad attitude and was rude! I noticed she knew some people that were eating there and to them, she was friendly, but to others I saw her serve food to, like to my table, she just dumped it on the table without a word! I will NEVER go back there!!!
I've eaten here on several occasions, each time thinking that maybe I just didn't order the best meal on the menu but it didn't get any better. I last visited here with a girlfriend, she ordered a the mushroom risotto when was very grey looking and she hardly touched it. I ordered a pasta dish that was very bland and unappealing and I only ate half of it (which is rare for me) The service was okay but I'll avoid going here in future.
I recently went to this restaurant for a hens night, we had a table of 15. While the restaurant itself is lovely i cant say the same for the staff. They forgot to put our table decorations out and were rude when we asked about them.
Both of the salads that were ordered were gritty and made with yellowing leaves. One of the orders came out as risotto with chicken instead of pasta with chicken. Instead of bringing the correct meal the waitress argued that we had ordered the risotto and left it on the table forcing two people to share a pasta dish.
On what should have been a fun night out we were left feeling disgusted with the service and completely unsatisfied with the meals.
In short the meals are overpriced and of poor quality and the service leaves a lot to be desired. I would never eat there again.
