I have been going to Ra Ra for a while now as a regular,
I have been impressed up until recently.
The menu, while diverse, is virtually always the same with little variation,
especially in the hot food area. At one stage, hot food was sold out before 12:30-1pm,
with no refills occurring. I understand that there were a large number of tradies
working in the are at the time, but the chef should have compensated for this.
But most recently, the choice of hot food is disappointing, especially considering what
is being charged for it. When we are being charged $14-ish for a pie, a Bolognese pie,
which was basically just Bolognese sauce in a pie shell... um, brumby's and bakers delight
sell much better pies for a third the price... Pastas for similar prices. Pasta dishes
in restaurants cost that, I don't expect to pay restaurant prices at a café. As I mentioned,
I go to RA Ra often... but I am severely reconsidering a new venue...
