Cafe Sweethearts

How I wish I went here with someone I could label as a "sweetheart" haha. Been having breakfast and coffee here with friends who live nearby for a couple of times. I like the coffee, breakfast is also okay. What I like the most is the simplicity and the atmosphere. It kinda makes me feel at home. Haven't catch the place to be crowded but I think the place is not open til late afternoon my friend says so safe bet is to visit in the morning.

Had breakfast here last weekend- and I was really pleased!



It was nothing super fancy (which you don't really need a bfast time anyway!) but it was what I wanted and the service was good

Does not live up to the hype. I enjoyed my breakfast but to be honest it was nothing special. It closes at 3pm, so if you turn up at 2pm, even for a coffee, don't expect much enthusiasm from staff!

Cafe Sweethearts is one of my favourite places to go for breakfast. A cute little cafe in South Melbourne that is extremely busy on weekends and bustling during the week. Of course this can only mean one thing! The food must be great! For first-timers I highly recommend the pancakes. The banana is my fave and although I know it will be trumped by the chocolate, I haven't been game enough to completely surrender my thighs just yet. I've also sampled many of the egg varieties - and varieties there are, and I can safely say you won't be disappointed. Very reasonably priced with heaps of options, Cafe Sweethearts also caters for a lunch time crowd and is open til 3pm daily.
