Caffe Vagabondo, situated in O'Connel St shopping area, is like stepping into a good cafe in Italy. The murals and paintings by local artists, the table and chairs, the hospitality, creates a great ambience. We chose for lunch from an excellent menu, a lamb salad, salt and pepper squid, finishing off with a genuine Italian coffee. The food was beautifully prepared and presented, and was healthy and delicious. (also available gluten free meals and deserts) This cafe/restaurant was the state winner; I love food award 2009. All together, an agreeable culinary experience. We hear their breakfast is legendary.
