Caffé Prego

If you want to pay for substandard fair with a poor service then visit Cafe Prego. I gave this establishment the benefit of doubt several months ago when I ordered a pizza that even other store could do better at a quarter of the price Tonight I ordered a Paella so stodgy. When I asked for a glass of wine for a friend who arrived I was told to join a que and pay a 50 cent surcharge as the transaction was less than $10.

Jetty Road Brighton really deserves better then this establishment. While the coffee is almost acceptable and the food is ok at best despite the high prices what really lets this place down is the attitude of the staff it really feels like they are doing us a favour by serving us the second rate food. Simple requests for things like cracked pepper and parmeson were met with eye rolls. It really is simple Cafe staff are the face of your business, if they don't care then neither do I and I wont be back.



There really are better options around then this place people.

The food and coffee is decent; however, we would never describe the service as friendly.

Really convienient place for anything from a quick dinner to special occasion dinners. Very Reasonable prices even since they have altered their menus and pricing since their widely advertised $9.90 meals but the added bonus is still the free pancakes/garlic bread! Service usually pretty good to.
