With our stopover at Anglesea to have a look at what the town had to offer. We couldnt help notice the sign at the front of the caf coffee and cake for $7. Reasonably well priced and there seem to be quite a number of diners already, all sitting inside as the weather wasnt too great today. Both hubby and I have been tired from our long drive and having a sweet tooth we decided to have a little break to enjoy the coffee and cake. Simply cant go wrong with a cheesecake which we ordered with our latte and flat white to go with it. Having a look over their menu briefly they seem to offer an extensive range from burgers, salads dishes, pastas, to the traditional chicken parma. Service was great and friendly. What I liked about this caf are the large signs displayed outside with clear pricing I guess there is quite a number of competition in a small drag of shops, so great way to attract the tourist and of course the locals.
We booked a group dinner and everything was going well. The restaurant was great to deal with on the phone, and on the day of the reservation we got courtesy calls to say that there had been an incident with one of the chefs so some of the menu would not be available - no problems and appreciated the call.
Once there the restaurant was very busy, and meals came out individually roughly five minutes apart, which was a little frustrating. After approximately forty minutes after the first plate was served one from our party still had not received their meal after the rest of us were more or less finished, and approached the staff to make sure the order hadn't been lost.
