Caffe Primo

This cafe is located on the Esplanade. Dropped by for a quick coffee and had a Mocha. The service was quick and lovely. The coffee itself is nice and used Coffex.

It has been such nice beach days this summer in Adelaid. that I've taken a lot of opporunities to hit the beach and then I leave hungry looking for a quick and cheap meal. Just recently my friends and I ended up at Cafe Primo after a beach session and ordered from their lunch specials menu. Good options and big serving sizes at a very decent price. We knew we couldn't go wrong with that choice!

My friend and I went for a stroll down Henley beach a few nights ago and decided to stop into Primo for dinner. We shared the mix grill as we weren't too hungry and it was very filling. The meats on the plate was tasty and filling and to end with the free pancakes for dinner hit the spot. The service was a tad on the slow slide but the staff were friendly and smiley which was good.

The food at Caffe Primo is quite average (and not cheap). On busy weekend afternoons, food can take some time to arrive. Thank goodness for the complimentary garlic bread!

The attraction at this particular Caffe Primo is its proximity to the beach. Book ahead if you want a table with a view. Parking is difficult.

The food is of average quality and over priced, the service is lower than standard due to inexperienced staff with no service skills and a desire yo finish work earlier than the closing time. Truly disappointing dining experience, don't waste your money.
