Recently went into Barb Cakebread Catering to find out the business has been sold! Apparently it's now called Cakebread Catering! The food looks similar to what it has always been, but probably half the great range they once had.There was a staff that served me that was rather slow & seemed a little flustered & not much knowledge regarding the food they were serving & didn't even provide a carry bag for all my food, this business has certainly lost the family friendly feel it once had!! They need to polish up on their customer service skills!
Why bother cooking dinner when you have a whole range of home cooked meals to choose from that taste fantastic. The portions are generous and the prices are cheap. I can feed my family a 3 course meal cheaper than what it costs for two courses at a restaurant. You can choose from lasagnas, stews and curries, to pies, quiches and frittatas. They even do salads and desserts. I have to say their rice pudding is the best! To top it off the staff are so friendly and personable, they make you feel like old friends. I highly recommend trying their food, especially when your tired or to busy to cook after work.
