Calabur

This place has been on my wishlist for a while. It's a cute and cosy underground restaurant cafe with Vietnamese-inspired flavours. I came for dinner and shared a couple of dishes - delicious!

This is a hidden little gem! It's only been open two weeks and I only knew about it as I saw it come up on an instagram feed. Only had about ten photos uploaded but was enough to spark my interest and it looked beautiful from all photos. Also close to my house and near bondi junction shopping centre so you can park easily. Walking by, you would probably not notice it, so they'll need good social media and word of mouth- which I'll do my best!
It's a vintage, rustic style place, with exposed bricks, pipes, rustic chairs, succulent plants, candles etc. On walking in,
the waitress and Waiter were super polite and were warm and friendly. We took a seat at a table for two, and they offered us a larger table if we pleased. Very nice ...read more
