I've been to this pub a couple of times but not a huge amount, namely because it never seemed to really appeal to me all that much. However when I was wandering around North Adelaide with my friend I decided to go and check it out again, if only because it was one of those pubs on my list that I wanted to pay one more visit to. Look, it is actually a fairly classy place, but not as classy as some of the other pubs in North Adelaide. However it is still a fairly standard, if not more high heeled place to have a drink. They have some tables out the front, and a pretty decent range of liquor behind the counter. There is also a beer garden out the back which is nice, though come to think of it I probably wouldn't object to coming back here again.
My cousin and I planned just recently a suprize birthday party for my aunty and uncle to be held here at the Caledonian. We have had a function here before and they did a really great job and the food was great. This time we had a different menu with more options and again the drinks package. Organizing and conversing with the team here was very easy and they were all very helpful and friendly. The party went without a hitch and they accommodated to all our needs. The function space was large, the set-up was perfect and the food was cooked well. Myself, my cousin and all the guests, including my aunty and uncle had a wonderful day and celebration here in the Caledonian. I would consider this space again for a function.
