Very poor customer service and rude salesperson (who I believe is the owner).
This is so unfortunate, because the fabrics are beautiful, there is parking out the front and places to eat nearby.
As a new quilter I was was purchasing batting to finish a quilt, which I was going to then put in to have basted. When choosing the batting, I was asked if I was going to have it professionally quilted it do it myself. So I said I was going to quilt it myself, and chose a batting suitable for hand quilting.
Then, when the batting was cut I asked about having the quilt basted by the shop and was rudely told it was too late and that she'd asked me that. I said no, that she asked if I was having it professionally quilted, and she said "same thing".
Not helpful for a newbie
Customer service non-existent - unimpressed by the staff running the shop, with a sour look on face. Tried asking a question and the the response was monosyllabic, not even a smile. If you intend to run a shop that caters to the public, then basic customer services skills are essential. I would not give this place a star rating at all.
Certainly will not be recommending this place to others.
