Many children have difficulty with everyday skills such as listening, sitting still, staying focused, or joining in with others. This affects their ability to connect with academic tasks (such as handwriting and following classroom routines), and with self care tasks; (such as sleeping, getting ready for school, and doing chores). Kate Keisler at Calm and Connected provides mobile and online services to support the adults surrounding the child and to teach the child how to address the foundational skills that affect our ability to connect to home, school and community life.

Implementing practical strategies into the home and school environments to reduce the stress on the child so they can participate to their fullest potential.
