Excellent, friendly customer service by staff at site. Stayed in town for a few nights, and the food was delicious (had Rissoles, Mash Potato, & Gravy one night - beautiful). Also, the Coffee from their coffee machine(s) was really good. Unfortunately, most of the town shuts down after 6pm, but the site was 24hrs, so was perfect place to grab takeaway dinner in the evening/night. Definitely worth stopping at, even if you're just passing Jurien Bay.
As the Manager suggested we gave another go. Well ordered steak and salad in toast and hamburger with egg and bacon, no salad. No-one around took 25 mins and my steak was that thin it was like a piece of cardboard, salad must mean with cheese. I am glad I could get something cooked this time but not worth the wait or price. Never again will we bother to stop.
We always make this servo our half way stop to and from Perth. Last Thursday the 17th December 2015 on our way home to Geraldton I decided as normal we would have lunch as it was 1145am. Myself and my grandson both went to the toilet and then made our choice for lunch, I asked the young man if I could have a steak and salad toasted sandwich, he says he will need to ask the cook, before he has a chance a lady behind the counter at the other end, rudely shouts out they have no steak, I then ask the young man again if I may then have a hamburger and salad between toasted slices of bread, the lady again shouts out there is a hamburger with egg and cheese in the warmer, I politely say this is not what I want and I will take my business elsewhere and instruct my grandson to put back his drink and we left. I was very unfortunate to find myself in a position just recently where i had misplaced my key card. After fuelling up my car i went to the register to find out i was unable to pay for my fuel. I gave the staff my rego, licence, Medicare card and contact details. which clearly state that i am from the next town over and from previous experience i was quite a regular. They photo copied my ID and held onto it. They had the contact details of my father who is well established in the next town and i rang him to confirm these details with them. A gentleman who was also there offered to pay for the fuel and they refused, Once i got to Perth i rang and offered to transfer funds into there account they also refused. I then said that i can go to the post office and send a postal check they also refused. I asked to speak with the management they told me was on holidays for a week.
