Please don't go to this mechanic unless you have no other choice. He is either shonky or incompetent.
My car kept stalling at intersections. I brought it in for urgent repairs less than a week ago. The mechanic on duty, a gentleman by the name is Elie (spelling probably incorrect, sorry about that) said the issue was the throttle body. He charged me 250 dollars for a clean and fix. That's fine. However, my car kept stalling, and I had to take it to another mechanic where they successfully identified the problems as faulty sensors on the engine. Disappointed with the approach to make an extra $7. Went in for a pink slip and they conveniently 'changed' the back number plate light bulb without showing me that it needed changing. I was there throughout the entire time and not once did they bring this to my attention until after they had changed it. I too am a small business owner and do not like to take advantage of situations no matter how small the amount and therefore do not appreciate to be taken advantage of in return. I do not recommend this place at all.
Well I suppose in defence of the service station, you do need to have that light changed and $ 7 isn't exactly going to break the bank is it ?
If it was $ 70 then fair enough, but to input a complaint in here over a $ 7 dollar item that has to be fixed anyway ........
