Cam Wah Chinese & Vietnamese Restaurant

A craving came over me again for some Chinese donuts and soup! Cam Wah was busy as per usual with people in and out for dine-in and take-aways. It seems to be a really popular place for such a small and not too noticeable location.

My friend and I were nearby looking at furniture and were a little peckish so my friend mentioned to come here to Cam Wah. I had never heard of this place before but she had been numerous times and said we must then come here to have the ‘Chinese curlers’. She was shocked that I had not heard of them or been here yet being the ‘little foodie’ I am. I have driven past Cam Wah a lot of times but hadn’t come in. I have had the Chinese curlers before but not like that before. The Entrée items she ordered for us were yummy as and quite filling. The pricing for it was good also. I really enjoyed them and think I’ve found a new snack to crave for! I will be back!

I have returned several times now. I can recommend the wet dim sims. Make sure you get a Chinese curler to mop up the sauce. The spring roll lettuce wraps are also good. We came out full for $20 per person including drinks.

I can't believe it took me so long to find this place. Walking in reminded me of my trips to Vietnam (particularly due to the weather being hot and muggy). The service is excellent, despite there only being one person on, I had been at my table for maybe 2 minutes when my soup was delivered. I can recommend the duck soup. I will be returning as I am keen to try the other items because they all looked interesting. Also try the fresh lemon juice drink - delicious.
