The Cameo is one of the beautiful hidden treasures to be found by any who venture all the way down the Belgrave train line. It’s the last of a dying breed of independently owned cinemas. Offering a mix of independent and mainstream films. Also boasting an amazing outdoor cinema that opens in the summer. Now I’m sure there are those amongst you who are saying, what about our old film and if your not I’m still going to tell you about the weekly screenings of the classics. eg. Casablanca and the Wizard of Oz. With the uber friendly staff (yes I know I said uber, but it does feel like it warrants it). Cameo is a great Friday night out. But before you start thinking I’m some sort of spy sent by Cameo to endorse the stuff outta it, I’d just like to add my critiques on it. I only have one which is that the cinemas are a tad small, so any of you blockbuster, adrenaline junkies might prefer a larger cinema.
