I often wonder how Melbourne keeps coming up with awesome rooftop bars unlike Sydney. I fell in love with the stairs leading up to the rooftop - totally mesmerised by the colourful graffs on the wall. The rooftop was really refreshing with a cute astro and a rustic decor. It does get very packed so earlier the better.
For great location and atmosphere on a nice summer night, Campari House is a place to dine at. Average food but the atmosphere and the lively crowd on a friday and saturday night makes it a hot spot to be at. I was here for after work drinks so only ordered a small dish of the fried calarmari to enjoy with my drinks. The night was young and not long after the place was busy. Service is good. Staff are on top of things and are quick with drink orders so it keeps people in their spots instead of hoping around to another lounge or bar for drinks. I will make the time to come and have a proper dinner here as friends say the menu is pretty good. Great location, central in Melbourne city.
This is a great place for lunch - either with business colleagues or friends. The Espresso Lunch is great value that offers a main course and drink (including wine, beer, soft or coffee) for only $18. It can get busy though. Food is lovely - I had a Smoked Salmon Salad which was generous in the salmon; my companion had a pizza that was huge and we shard the ciabatta. It's good here. Thank you.
A very nice restaurant for a weekday lunch. The service was friendly, informal, attentive and reliable. The range of options on the menu was not vast, predominantly Italian, but the "Lunch Espresso" specials were a good range. Quite a reasonable wine list too. It is well located in Hardware Lane, reasonably central to most parts of Melbourne CBD. Obviously lots of diners come here to enjoy the massive pizzas - they are very popular! I would come here again. Thank you.
