Camping Down Under

Their eCommerce is an absolute joke. Purchased a birthday present at the beginning of November, simple order of a back pack. I chose them because they advertised next day delivery in Australia. In your dreams, was waiting for 8 days and missed the birthday until I messaged them what the heck was going on. Without a reply to my email the next day I received a shipping confirmation status, no apology, no explanaition for the fact that someone left this order in their warehouse somewhere, waiting to be picked up.

Terrible service, no customer engagement, very untransparent.

Do yourself a favour and go to BCF where the service and returns policy are much better.

Checked price of an item on their website, drove to store to find price was higher in store. Mentioned website price only to be told that they would not sell it at this price as the website price did not include postage. This is why I went to the store, to avoid a postage cost! Very unprofessional answer. Was told to speak to the management but could not tell me when they would be available in store. Will not shop there again.

I was all getting excited about getting my tent and getting into camping and then Down Under Camping stuffed me around.

The tent I wanted wasn't in stock, so I asked them to order it in. I made sure that they put the advertised price on the order slip so I could get it at that price when it arrived.
