Very disturbing experience dealing with the brutal, utter money focus of this vet. Due to a set of very unusual circumstances I was unable to continue to pay more money to this vet after two visits. I assured the vet I would leave my passport and be able to pay all in one week. I was refused and charged for that consult - and told they would no longer be able to treat my seriously ill dog. I carried him to the car and rang around until I found a vet willing to help me. The vet that saw him was genuinely horrified that this dog was refused treatment. I am fully employed and own two properties and still they refused to believe I was desperate, and assist my dog. I am horrified at the pure money factory mindset of this clinic. If you want humanity and compassion - dont go to this clinic.
Recently my dog, Pohly got an eye infection, and we found ourselves in need of a Vet. He is a lovely pooch, but quite nervous and shy. We took him to Canterbury Vet clinic, and they were amazing. They catered to our specific needs, and my own anxiety was quickly alleviated. Pohly received expertise from their own on site optician, that other vets would have to send you off site to receive. Pohly was very excited to receive his first letter that invited him to enjoy their rewards programme, and enjoyed the goodies bag that he took home to share with his brother. Thanks Melissa, and the whole team for your warmth and extremely pleasant bed side manner.
