Canton Noodle House Burwood

Been here many times and the 2nd last time was a little disappointing
This time it was a little better but portion sizes have decrease,prices increased
If you didn't know it's a bit squishy in here too
Not as popular as before,there is a lot of competition at the moment but it's still worth a visit

Come for the food and not the service! This place is packed and there is a good reason for it !!! Thier noodles and side dishes are nice, cheap and quick.

Not the cleanest place but the food is good here, the service is typical Chinese style 'I dont care' type.

Come early or else you will have to wait in line.

It is not often that I come across a casual Chinese restaurant that has excellent service, but Canton Noodle House was an exception. The moment we stepped in, the staff greeted and help us finding the most comfortable tables for us, even though that means giving us a larger table something I have never before seen in a setting like this.

The place is quite intimately spaces, and there were a lot of customers at that Sunday evening, but the place was nowhere near noisy again, something I did not expect (perhaps it was because of the friendly and polite service that everyone somehow became calm!). The most reliably good, and ultra busy Chinese place in Burwood. They really do pack you in, but it is not entirely uncomfortable, and the food is yum. Congee is very good, and most noodle dishes are not bad. They were even better previously when they used fresh egg noodles for the "chow mein" dishes, but that was some years ago.

I am surprised there are no other reviews for this place which has been around forever.
