Selena O'Neill, Director and Founder, has an extensive background in executive search focusing on a range of professional recruitment and HR services across Government, Corporate and the NFP sectors, specializing in Indigenous Affairs.

She has a strong interest and background in the human services sector, having originally qualified with a BA Criminology some years ago. Selena has worked in QLD and London across various social service portfolios including criminal justice, care management, housing and youth offending, before moving into recruitment in 2007. Having identified a desire to move into a commercial/business oriented environment, Selena commenced working for Hudson Brisbane, as the sole consultant in a new line of business for the company, focusing on recruitment across the Public Sector. in 2012, Selena founded Canvas Executive Search as sole owner and director.

With Selena's background in the social services sector, she has a good understanding of the social and organisational cultural fit requirements of each sector. She also understands that challenging what exists helps to deliver and source what is really needed - enterprise-wide or individually.
