I've used the NSW inspection service this business provides for about 15 years. With 2-4 vehicles each year, I guess I have been here at least 40 times. My wife or I have never had a problem. Paul has always been accommodating. He is respected by peers in the industry, my mechanic (doesn't do inspections) recommended him. I think simple direct feedback is an advantage when dealing mechanical or RMS issues.
Drove my old car 40 odd minutes from the country at 9am for a rego check.. was told in the carpark out the front by the mechanic he had been thinking about the appointment and that by wasn’t doing the check because the car was old and it was rusty in amoungst swearwords. Keeping in mind this is a vintage club car, there was no rust to be seen. Didn’t even ring to tell me he wasn’t doing the check just waited for me to arrive first thing and tell me on the spot! Be careful if using this guy!
This guy is a legend. He is abrupt and to the point. As a one man show he hasn't got the time to 'suffer fools'! He is simply "old school". If you want the pomp customer service that pampers to your needs, go elsewhere and pay the price (Canberra).
If you want the job done right. Be prepared for no small talk. No coffee. No mints. No problems. And no surprises in the bill!
