Went to Capricci's for lunch today (22 April 2011). We went in as there weren't too many people inside and thought we would get a reasonable meal reasonably quickly. Is it any surprise this place has closed down now? Gotta give people what they wanted!
Now I give any eatery a second chance, but after going to capricci's for lunch and being served the most dreadful snitzel and chips( both over cooked and burnt) I thought I would try again, this time with workmates for dinner. I'm sorry to say that second time round wasnt any better. Food was mediocre to downright horrible. Staff need training and a good clean! Have a shave boys!! The decor was overdue for an update and the place needed a good clean. Would have liked to have seen the view through the windows but they were dirty. Can't say much for service as we watched one couple walk out after being seated then ignored. Sorry guys but you can only ride on Masterchefs tails for so long...
Firstly we ventured due to the owner being a contestant on Masterchef, but we have returned since for the food and the ambiance. Great food, great service and personable staff. W e are fortunate to have them so close and even our six year old daughter wants to take her friends there for her seventh birthday. How cool at seven to have your birthday dinner cooked by a Masterchef.
