Typical wreckers that I would guess you would find anywhere. 2 females walking in and I guess the general stereotype that we are female and must have little knowledge about cars. Got a price on a vehicle, which was more or less what we had been advised prior to approaching this place for a price. The service was extremely slow, pretty much on their time. It was meant to be about a 10 minutes wait for everything to be finalised, turned more into a 30 minutes + wait in the room. The service wasnt rude or bad in anyway, however I wouldve expected a much more efficient operated business. Theyre still operating on cheques in issuing payment, which also says a lot about the business in keeping with the speed of how payments are operated much more efficiently with customers, let alone the cost to their own business in issuing the cheques.
Bought a fully reco starter motor under 12 months ago, already not working, took to a service who told me cheap parts were used and they were surprised it lasted more than 3 months. As this part has 12 mth warranty and although I have admittedly lost my receipt, it's still identifiable due to sticker with serial number of part applied by car busters and as they should have current computer records I rang and told them the above and was told (of course) that there is no record of that serial number. I read them word for word what the sticker said and was told to bring the part down. Will update on how I go with this advice but not feeling hopeful although fingers crossed.....
I can't even comment on their customer service as it is non existant.
I can tell you that they are rude & lack common courtesy.
I would rather walk then buy anything from them for a vehicle..
My first experience was them telling me it took hours to pull apart an alternator, when I questioned this as there are only a couple of screws I was condescendingly told it was not a mirror.
My second experience (my fault for expecting better) was being told I could not pick up a part later in the day & instead could come, leave money for the part & then come back to pick it up..
rang for ford c4. told staff what i needed a c4 for rangerover. asked if i was sure it was a c4. i reiterated it was a c4. told me i know more than them so they would pass. on the sale. arrogant.
1. I asked "are you sure its a C4 ? " because I had never heard of one in a
Range Rover.
2. We did not have one in stock.
3. I passed because it would be difficult to find.
I believe this person thought I had one in stock and did not want to sell it to them which is not the case.
