Cardiff General Practice

If you bulk-bill they make you go from doctor to doctor, and your own doctor that you've had appointments with for months won't know who you are. (My last doctor there yelled at me over the phone because he said I needed to talk my doctor... and he was the only doctor I'd see there all year.) Some of the reception staff are nice, but one told me I couldn't pick up my own medical records because they don't belong to me, that it might take months to send them to my new GP, and I might have to pay for each doctor's records. This seems really unfair when it is the surgery who won't allow you to stay with any one doctor. So even when you go somewhere new, you can't get access to your medical records. Cardiff GP used to have a good reputation in the local area, but now most people think it's where you go when you can't get in to a propery surgery.
