Specializing in Events and Workshops.I grew up having a passion for hair and makeup from a young age after watching and imitating my mum as she would go through her routine. It wasn’t a surprise that it started off as a hobby, then escalated to doing family and friends for free, which then quickly turned into freelancing business. I officially began as a mobile hair and makeup artist in 2009 after completing a certificate II in Makeup Services at the prestigious Showface located in The Rocks, Sydney.
Over the years, my technique and skills have improved and a lot has to do with keeping up with the latest Makeup trends, lots of practicing and then more practising!!
After 8 years I am so happy to be doing what I absolutely love and passionate about. I love how this job keeps me excited in a sense that every client whom sits in front of me is after a unique look and I play a small part in amplifying their natural beauty. I cater for a variety of events from weddings, formals and promotional events, however, I even love to take on bookings for ladies just heading on a night out.
I always believe in not making my client look like someone else, instead, enhance the beauty and features they already have. I always try to remind my clients too that true beauty comes from within themselves. I had my wedding hair and make up trial with Carel and her work was fantastic! She tailors the style to what you desire and can make great suggestions to suit what you want. I tried the airbrush make up and curls for the hair, both lasted the day and night. She's very professional and has a lovely personality. Im not only booking her for 1 wedding.. but 2 wedding ceremonies :) Cant wait!
