Carlo's At Watson

Great breakfast and cabonara- a bit of a wait though.

My friends went there for lunch and the staff were rude, they waited ages for their meals and they didn't give them any change.

So I guess it's a hit or miss thing, but when they are good, it's worth going.

This is my favourite cafe in Canberra for breakfast. There's easy parking, plenty of tables both inside and out, but most importantly, the food is great. I've sampled a few things on the menu, but I keep going back to the French toast. It's the best!

These guys have the best french toast in town - instead of the usual bread slices, they carve thick chunks of a breadloaf and cook them to perfection, with bacon and maple syrup on top. the piece de resistance is the fried banana that accompanies the dish. Carlo's is a great place in teh suburbs to have a cup of coffee and is always busy!
