Carmine's Restaurant
Carmines is a fine place to relax and savour the moment with friends. The entry opens to a bar along one wall, while the main dining area is a big open room and, in nice weather, spills out on to a veranda area. The service here is efficient but it isn't rushed. While primarily a pizza and pasta restaurant, there is a choice of seafood, risotto and meat dishes.The spaghetti marinara passes with flying colours, plenty of prawns, mussels and squid rings but, just as importantly, a good hot pasta in a tasty napolitana sauce. Carmines is not big on pretension but it is good value.

Came here for Fathers Day. It was a last minute booking I called through in the morning and was glad they took our booking, without deposit either. We decided on pizza night as it was quick and satisfying and we can all just share. The pizzas were yummy, the bases were really good too. Garlic bread was really garlicky and everyone liked the Kilpatrick oysters. I was the only one on the table that has had a dessert pizza before so decided we should go ahead with the pizza night through to dessert as well so got the Nutella Dessert Pizza that was on the specials menu. My family was excited to try it and they were happy with my dessert choice as well as choice of our dinner outting. Service was good and staff were friendly as well. Did not accept sda frequent values card though being an 'occasion' day. I would recommend this place.
