As with any used car dealer, please have your own personal mechanic check the car before paying the price Carpath is requesting. Our starter motor died within the first week after purchase - despite being told by Carpath that their mechanic had said we could get possibly 'get another 10,000 kms' out of it. Because we had also purchased a Sentinel Warranty, the starter was replaced through that. However, we had to pay out of pocket for a new battery and associated labour costs, which weren't covered under the warranty. The staff said if the warranty didn't cover the starter, they would then help with the cost. When told the warranty covered the starter but not the battery, no offer was made to reimburse us.
