Do not apply or work here, warehouse manager plays who he likes in the warehouse. He Playing favourites.
Got BULLIED into leaving, this play played a big part in my anxiety.
Warehouse staff making jokes about me getting cancer (melanoma) due to me being on light duties for quite some time.
Never again will I shop at Carpet Call. While the purchasing experience was pleasant enough, there were certain things the sales people should have discussed (like removal of skirting boards if wanting wall to wall) and choice on how cornices around doors were dealt with. The installers were polite enough however the issues included gaps, pencil lines, floor boards not matching up by a long way from hall way to a room or by a few (very noticeable mm). After numerous phone calls and emails to management at Seven Hills they sent back the same shoddy installers who told me they'd have to rip up the floor just to fix a small gap and that the pencil marks everywhere could be removed with turpentine....by me it seems. Gave up at this point as the after sales service and complete lack of follow up by management means that I won't ever go near Carpet Call at any location and will do my very best to ensure no one I know ever ever goes there. Very unhappy with the ...read more

thank you very much for all of the troubles.
Poor business ethics from the top down! How can you expect the staff to get it right when the management refuse to take calls, reverse agreements made between staff and customers, and generally endorsing poor business practices. I was quoted $85 / m for 73m2 of timber, based on an estimate. Within 24 hours of signing up and paying a deposit I confirmed the quantity as 67m2 and requested the invoice for the balance (due BEFORE installation) be amended. It never was and as a result I was held to pay the full amount (the furniture was outside by this time!) on the agreed understanding a credit for the difference would be paid. Despite Carpet Call insisting the area was larger than it actually is, and that the contract was to lay flooring to a specific area of the house, not on a per meter basis as had been agreed, the quantity of product used was 67m2, including wastage. The sales staff at Penrith agreed to arrange the credit. management agreed to arrange the ...read more
This is the worst company to deal with. this is meant to be be the Head Office with the worst customer service. I purchased my floor boards in February and had them installed in May. Mind you the original install date was in April which they changed it without my knowledge. I had taken 4 days off work for the stuff up. On May 10th they came and installed my floors which all went well then a month later my floor had started lifting and skirting boards coming off. I have been calling the head office twice a week for the last 3 months asking to speak to the manager and all I get is that he is in a meeting, out of office or on the phone. Finally last week a Supervisor came out and accused that the damage was caused by water from the bathroom and that my conctrete floor is leaking. Mind you I had carpet before and no water damage ever. The manager was meant to have come around my place yesterday and there was no show, not even a call to say that they won't be able to ...read more
