This was one of my favourite pubs in Geelong. Okay, I haven’t check out all of them yet, but this one was pretty decent. It seems as if they had given it a complete make over, and honestly, it really works. Okay, I didn’t get to check out the beer garden because it was booked, but that was cool because sitting in the pub was quite nice as well. Oh, and they also had some craft beers on tap as well.
Do yourselves a favour and give this one a BIG miss! Seafood was ordered, exotic menu description, only to have delivered a less than ordinary fisherman's basket swimming in oil & batter! The management was called, questioned why the description did not say "deepfried", their response "I should have known and you can go down the street and order a fishermans basket for $13!" Point is I don't eat deepfried food and would not have ordered it had I known. So much for professionalism and customer service! This little disaster cost $27.50.
