I was a potential property buyer who was driven away by Renn who was uncooperative, rude and dismissive. He refused to allow a second viewing of the property unless I disclosed to him, in advance, the amount I was willing to offer. Never met a REA who discourages interested buyers with an unnesecarily hostile attitude.

I highly recommend Carroll's for property management and sales. I previously had my small unit managed by others, but since I changed to Carroll's I never had anything to worry about. Carroll's are a family business, so Renn and Gayle are totally dedicated to the service they provide.

I too have rented for over 10 years and for about 3 with Carrolls, and have found them to be the worst letting agents I have ever dealt with. I have to ask the rear tenants for money all the time and can't do anything about it if they don't pay. Talk about risk shifting! I also have recently had to report the same maintenance issues 3 times and not even had so much as a response.

End of the day it isn't my house falling apart,its the landlords. So if you are a Landlord, they won't look after your property, if you're a renter, they won't care about you either. Appalling in every way. I could go on but I think you are getting the idea by now...

I rented through Carrolls Real Estate for around 3 years, and this was the worst business I have ever dealt with. I am a long term renter (15 years +, and I also have my own rental properties interstate), and have never come across such an unprofessional agency. No regular property inspections, does not follow through on very reasonable requests, ignored legitimate complaints and, as a renter, they are very quick to threaten ("if you do not comply, it will not look good on your rental record") with tight deadlines. If you are looking to rent through Carrolls, think long and hard about it before committing. As a landlord, I would never deal with an agency such as this because I believe you don't get value for money and I think they would have very few long tenants - especially seeing a former tenant in tears after having to deal with them (no, not me or anyone else I know) post rental. Scenes such as this does not inspire confidence in property managers such as this.
