I have unfortunately been left no option but to make a formal complaint with Chartered Accountants Australia against the owner, operator of this company.
Mr Carwardine was our previously accountant for around 7 years, wont return calls or respond to emails in regards to what I have been told is a simple and quickly solvable issue from an error that they may have made upon the commencment of our business relationship in 2007.
It is very disappointing that he has chosen not to return calls or emails. I have been trying for over one month now to no avail. I have remained polite and respectful with my requests. I feel sorry for his staff - they must be very embarrassed that such unprofessional behaviour is being displayed by their boss and owner of the company. I am completely shocked and utterly dissapointed with this unprofessional behavior. This delay is costing us a great deal in money and time wasted.

We operate a very large business, we engaged Laurie Carwardine and he instantly saw the $$$ signs and signed us up to a monthly payment plan (overpriced one I must say). After completing the work for 2012, we didn't believe it was correct but gave him the benefit of the doubt but after 2013 was completed, it was a complete mess!!!! When we decided to leave, Laurie refused to hand over any of our documents, including trial balances, depreciation schedules etc, which has cost us a fortune for the new accountant to recover (well worth it by the way to get out). When you have to get the Accountants Board and Solicitors in to get your own documents back, something is seriously wrong with the accountants office. Run for the hills do not go anywhere this guy, it will only cause you heartache.
