what a great shop! Great interior, great products. The owner (who is a wine maker) is very friendly and helpful and i felt like i was really being looked after as he went through the various wines and fine food selection with me. This is the type of shop that you could walk into with no idea of what you're looking for and walk out with something awesome. I love the fact that they have great wines together with cheese, salami's and meats, olives, pastas, jams ....a great selection of fine foods and it's all in the one shop! And the prices are surprisingly competitive and reasonable. Casa De Vinos is just what we needed on Port Melbourne. big thumbs up!!
Finally some decent wine in the area, with staff who are passionate about wine and great food. There's a great selection of cured meats and exotic cheeses - plus on a personal note - they stock conchiglione pasta. 5 stars just for that! I was surprised at how well their prices on comparable wines fared next to bottle shops in the area too.
Great wine collection - lots of unique brands and really affordable - they also offer a great selection of gourmet foods, we ordered hampers for corporate clients and they were really impressed. The owner is a winemaker so full of knowledge and always has an interesting new wine to recommend.

For those with a sweet tooth and love of pretty bottles you must try the French pink Lemonade.
For something a little more savory, the Gres de Champenois cheese and Stoniers reserve Chardonnay from Mornington were amazing..
