I’m not one to normally go to the trouble of doing a review but I Would like to give Two big thumbs up to cash converters mermaid beach and in particular highlight the service and customer experience my fiancé and myself just had from Laura , the girl with the English accent , due to tradie trouble we found ourselves on a bit of a situation getting our home renovation completed and were worried so we needed a lifeline and thought we would check out the personal loans from cashiers as I’ve used them in the past , from the minute Laura began serving us we felt comfortable and relaxed as we were a little nervous before as it’s our first time applying for s loan together , anyway throughout the process Laura explained everything clearly and professionally and also listened to us and answered all our concerns in the manner , in the end we walked out very relieved not only that our situation can be resolved but very happy that we were given a loan we could ...read more

I went in to this store and looked at two folding bikes that had just come off their seven day hold. The girl told me that they were $349.00 each but then immediately said to me that I could have one for $295. I said I'd go home and think about it. I went back a couple of days later and spoke to a guy who said that for both of them I could have a discount of $50 and could have them for $650, ie. $325 each. I offered $600 cash for both of them and was told that no, there was no way they'd let them go for that amount!! Not impressed and I walked with my $600 in my pocket. They're welcome to sell them to someone else. Such a different experience to dealing with the lovely people at Cash Converters Ashmore, particularly a guy called Tane.

nice staff and reasonable prices, I was welcomed when I entered the doors andwas attended to when needed. They are reasonable when negotiating when I was thinking of buying a new camera. Keeping the loans area seperate from the retail area is great but can be confusing. the store was clean and usually always has new stock.

Pretty disappointed with this Cash Converters particularly as they sell a lot of heavily used items at prices higher of very closed prices to buying it brand new. They seem to really be missing the point of being a second hand store :/

The loan section is much more appealing particularly with the convenience of online applications and friendly customer service set back in a separate partition to the rest of the store.
