Castelmola Pizzeria Restaurant

Absolutely love this place fantastic food and the pizzas are the best . My and family and I love castelmola because it is the full package not like some restaurants. Castelmola has friendly waiters that are always happy and helpful, thanks Rob and Sandra for the great service and the food is always amazing.

We've moved to the area recently so decided to give this place a try - it was fantastic! The woodfired pizza base was excellent, and the pasta dish was also great - very large servings too! They brought us complimentary homemade limoncello at the end which was delicious and a nice touch. Will definitely make it one of our regulars!

They had no large pizza boxes (truly) so we could not order the large takeaway pizza. We arrived when they suggested (25m) to collect them and they hadn't started to make them! As for the quality of the food - well ordinary and the seafood pizza had precious little seafood - did not seem fresh. Plenty of other pizza choices in Leichhardt - avoid this one!

Whist we really enjoyed the food - shared a pizza and pasta dish, we were very disappointed when we recieved the bill with $14 corkage for 1 bottle of wine (ie $7 pp). I dont have a problem paying corkage but feel that $3 pp should be the limit. They di not inform us before we ordered our meal on how much corkage was nor did they make it clear on the menu.

I enjoyed the food here, the pizza was delicious. The pasta is nice, but the sauces can be a little thin at times, that is my only criticism. The service is great, the waiters are so friendly and accommodating, and it is definitely a child friendly restaurant. The tiramisu I had for dessert was absolutely divine.
