This is a great medical practice. open 7 days a week until late. Large waiting rooms that are comfortable and wait times that are short. Doctor Pallath is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. she has a good intuition and is willing to keep persisting to find underlying conditions. It has taken me years to find a good doctor. The only downside is it is not a bulk billing practice. The out of pocket is $37.50, but I find this a fair trade off for short waiting times and longer consultation times of around 15 minutes.
I have searched for years for a good doctor and have actually been very happy with a few of the doctors I have seen here. The nursing team is very experienced and friendly, reception is friendly and helpful, and the doctors are very knowledgeable and many have specialties in different areas. Dr Cheatham in particular is wonderful and it is obvious he really knows his stuff and also really cares.
I must also say Christian Carpenter, physio therapist, is a true healer, she really helped me out when I was in trouble with my neck, very professional, highly experienced, amazing hands, she is my savior.
And to add, Dr Tomlins is a wonderful person and a hard to find GP.
don't know about other doctors, but Dr Knapik is probably one of the best I have found yet through many years of searching, his life's purpose was truly to be a doctor.
Also, surprisingly, medical secretaries are friendly and polite, this is very rare in Medical Centres, at least with my experience.
I have been a patient of Dr Robert Elliot who operates his practise at Castle Hill Medical Centre. He's an excellent doctor I have always found him to be honest, unbiased and a man of integrity. Dr Elliot always has time to chat even when there's a waiting room full of people. When one is with the doctor one always gets the impression that he's focused on you and you alone, the queue outside doesn't exist. To my way of thinking this is the sign of a top class doctor.
The centre staff do their best but like anyone does they make errors and omissions. If you need prescriptions to be faxed to your pharmacy it's a good idea to remind them in advance so that you're not left waiting at the chemist with no sign of the prescription.
