Cat & Fiddle Hotel

This place was actually rather nice, though I should mention that the fact that it has the word cat in its name does grab my attention somewhat, particularly since I do have a rather soft spot when it comes to cats. Still, this pub was actually pretty cool, and the atmosphere was rather charming, including the rather nice outdoor area out the back. Oh, and they also have some decent beers on tap, which is always a good thing where I am concerned.

I havent been to the Cat and Fiddle for awhile, but it is known as one of the few pubs left in Sydney that still host regular live music. This place is an a good location and is well priced for drinks. I'm planning to head there today with mates for an Australia Day ale.

Great bar - was here for a friends leaving drinks on a Saturday recently. There was live music (band) and it was a real social bar.
Obviously the locals like this pub - they were really welcoming and friendly.

My friends ate and said the food was great! Nice menu, the smell of the food was delicious!!

The owner/manager was behind the bar and made time for everyone. I think he's Irish. He was very chatty and was a good laugh to chat with.

We'll definitely be back....we saw a sunday roast on the menu!!!

Visited for Saturday night dinner with a group of five. Really relaxed venue, quite noisy. Good range of pub food at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed and would go back. Parking is a bit hit and miss but we all managed to park within 100m or so.

Good cheap food.
