Catalano's Cafe

Always a welcome at Catalano's with their friendly and warm staff. The restaurant serves delicious Italian food and having fresh ingredients is never a compromise.

Tried their lunchtime menu which consisted mainly of burgers or schnitzel rolls priced at $11.00
The veal schnitzel was a little tough to be veal, served with a few chips and an over dressed little salad. The drinks were on the pricy side and the service was very indifferent and very patchy like forgetting drink orders when the venue was not very busy and also taking plates away whilst the person is still finishing off their meal?

I've been to Catalano's many times and the food is always great with large servings. Last night (Saturday) was very busy and it showed with the staff. We had to ask 4 times for water, 2 times for soft drinks, we weren't told there was a kids menu until I went to pay and then after showing my entertainment voucher she charged me a the full amount and forgot the discount, which was refunded in cash. Maybe an off night but I would definitely return.

Consistently good food and good service. Large portions. Also a good place for a weekend breakfast.

Great food choices and the coffee was a change from the old instant .We tried some Italian fare and found it a treat . We had top service.
