It's has been a while since I've been here, and the last time this was just one of those small corner pubs. However since that time this pub has had a massive makeover and now includes a balcony bar and an upstairs beer garden, and well as a number of dining rooms. In fact what I remember as being front bar has been removed and has been turned into one of the dining room. The beer garden is pretty nice, though when I was here it was closed off (though I was still able to drink my beer up here). The staff were also pretty friendly, and they also open up the place for functions. While they only have the standard beers on tap (and a couple of tried and true craft beers) it is still a pretty nice place, much better than when I used to grace its walls.
First time coming here, don't think I'll come back though. Menu looked alright, specials board too but for the quality of my meal, it wasn't that great. Ordered the Eye Fillet (large offerings 240g) medium and it came out well done and very chewy, wasn't satisfying. Also it didn't come out with any gravy so had to ask for it and also aioli for the chips. The meatball burger was okay though according to my companion.
