Cauliflower Hotel
One of South Sydney's oldest pubs, the cauliflower hotel has been around since 1838, with interiors revamped there is still history around the pub which makes for interesting looking. There is a bistro open for lunch and dinner each day and is family friendly. This bar has a sports bar surrounded with large plasma screens , showing every big sporting event, a bottle shop, and TAB.

Well, I didn’t let that huge fibreglass cauliflower put me off checking this place out, namely because I’m not a huge fan of cauliflower. However, as a pub, ignoring that vegetable thing and all that, was actually pretty cool. The thing that stood out was the beer selection, but then again a good beer selection is always something that is going to grab my attention. Oh, and the service wasn’t bad either, though I’ll have to say that it was the charm of the place that really grabbed me.
