CBD Electrical Services received a request from him to attend his business to replace some faulty lamps, no firm appointment was given, except that we would attend as soon as possible, due to current workload. We visited his premises to assess the job requirements with his ' shop manager' and we also discussed the need to possibly wait to obtain council permits with them, but were advised that this would not be necessary. We subsequently went ahead with the job, and were interrupted by council, due to the need for a permit, although we were able to complete some aspects of the work requested by them. He was upset that we couldn't complete the work during this visit, and was arrogant to our technician and office staff. We made a decision that he wasn't a person that we wanted to continue to deal with, so we called him to advise him of this, and charged him for work completed. He wasn't overcharged, simply invoiced for time spent on a time waster.
