DO NOT BUY PROPERTY FROM THESE BUILDERS! We purchased a brand new townhouse in the Brisbane suburb of Hamilton directly from this builder 6 years ago, in 2008. Had all the usual inspections done. This is an investment property and has been constantly rented since purchase. At the start of this year we received notification from our tenant that there was significant movement occurring in the property,causing noticeable damage to the inside structure. Worse than this, the patio slab at the rear of the property had shifted 2 inches away from the main slab, putting the patio roof at risk of collapsing. Believing we had a claim under the builder's warranty period, we submitted a defects claim to the builder, only to be told it was not their problem and to find someone else to fix it.
