CDMS Consulting Engineers (CDMS) has expanded its consulting engineering service since joining Midas Engineering Group (Midas) to offer additional engineering services such as fit for service assessments, external design verification, project management and product development.

CDMS has particular expertise in pressure vessels, piping, structural steel frames, civil works, tanks, skids, silos, platforms and ladders, product development, heat exchangers, lifting frames, project management, RFC footings and slabs, and machine components. Through an unrelenting commitment to excellence, CDMS is able to complete jobs on time, on budget, to and above the expectation of clients.

CDMS Consulting Engineers was established in Perth, Western Australia in 1986 as an engineering consultancy firm that initially serviced the steel fabrication and construction industries. As the company developed, it became regarded as a leading pressure and storage equipment specialist with structural design capability. Its ability to also offer high quality fabrication and construction drawings with each design made CDMS a preferred supplier for this work.

In December 2012, CDMS joined forces with Mineral Engineering Technical Services (METS), a Perth-based independent specialist consulting group, providing services including mineral processing, engineering design, training and specialist services to the mining industry. In August 2013, both companies joined Midas Engineering Group. The group is comprised of METS, Wilkie Civil Engineering, Sanderson Consultants, and TCT Electrical Engineering. Together the group services the mining, oil & gas, water, power, chemicals, infrastructure, residential and commercial industries with engineering consultancy expertise across a range of services.
