Celebration Homes

Celebration built our house and completed in 2013. Since that year we have had nothing but trouble with our plumbing. We have had to change our shower system in the main bathroom, our shower system in the ensuite, the basin taps and now the bath system. Then, last week our daughter room had a flood, due to the plumbing from our main bathroom. We had our Plummer and also our insurance come out and both have reported this is due to the builder standard. We have tried to contact on each occasion but, what a surprise, no notes are on our file. There have been many calls to celebration over the years. I have left this review to the very last moment as I have tried to resolve directly with this company. Our daughter room cupboard is ruined, the floor has lifted and hence needs replacing, the painting has bubbled. The pipes that have been used are not standard. We have had to fork out an extra $8000. Then today they had the audacity to say we hadn’t sent the report to them from our plumber, to what I was able to PROVe we did with both the email and the read receipt. We have rendering damage, which has bubbled due to plumbing, and also our cornices are falling off. We are very disappointed and have now got lawyers looking into this as Celebration have not taken any responsibility in the build. They only responded today to my phone call, no communication from Friday 29th July 2022 and then Monday 1st august. Terrible customer service and we have had to do all the chasing. We were supposed to have a response by 5pm Friday 5th August 2022, to our last letter, and this has not occurred. Please please reconsider building with this company as we will never again.<br><br>I’m sorry but I can’t post photos but please please do not go with this company, build was great but after not at all. Things get “lost” in the system.

We are currently in the process of building our first home with Celebration Homes and so far everything has been great. We're probably about 75% complete and have been extremely happy. There have been a few bumps along the way, but these were to be expected, but they have been excellent with explaining the process and rectifying anything that might not have gone according to plan. I would definitely recommend Celebration Homes.

I built a house with Celebrations this year, at first I was impressed with the slab and brickwork, the rest is a tradesman lack of trade. It was poorly finished, painted doors have dried sand, or running dried paint. It wasn't cleaned very well, leaving building sand and bits and pieces in the window sills or door sills. I had to have the alfresco re paved. Parts of the installed shelving has come apart in the Pantry cupboard. I asked for some maintance, to be done, they came out took photos and I never heard from them again. You ring the office, and their unprofessional receptionist's are rude and of no help or assistance. There were no celebrations when I built a house with Celebrations.
