Never thought it was possible to ruin a schnitzel, but the Middleton tav has achieved it!!!! Over cooked schnitz and undercooked chips- well done!!

THE place to see and be seen. always reliable for great food, great service and great value. Always the place to take visiting friends or special events. good for a large group.

Great range of wines here - I was very impressed that they had a rack of locally made wines right near the door. The staff were able to make suggestions and they had a good knowledge of the local wineries.

It was a very busy night in Port Elliot and Middleton but we found a table at the Middleton Tavern. Even though it was really busy the service was friendly and we were looked after promptly. Our food didn't take long to arrive and it was great - the steak was cooked just as we wanted and was tender and tasty. The menu is pub fare but they do it well. There is a salad and hot vegetable bar with a variety of selections so there is something for everyone. Very decent pub food.
