When our pool pump+filter+clorinator system developed air leak few months ago, we consulted Centenary Pool Mart to fix it. Initial checks, including a pressure test, failed to identify the source of the air leak. Richard and Sarah of the Centenary Pool Mart went out of their way to determine the fault. They paid numerous site visits associated with testing new modifications made to the system, mostly during out of their normal working hours. Richard’s thinking of ‘one change at a time’ indicated his professional approach to the problem at hand and it paid off at the end. Richard’s determination, attention to detail, expertise and above all, customer care, are all an asset to Centenary Pool Mart. It’s hard to find elsewhere a business like Centenary Pool Mart which offers complete customer satisfaction.
After the recent torrential rain we experienced from about 10pm Christmas Day, a fair few houses around the area would have been sitting in a puddle of water - for us, it was an awakening to a pool that looked more like a giant 50,000 Litre cup of coffee, (see uploaded Before & After photos). The rain had caused a mini landslide from the raised flower beds on its periphery.
With some amazing advice and guidance from Richard, along with a little hard work, our pool was transformed from a muddy quarry, to its previous sparkly happy self fit for the kids once more in less than three days.
Thanks heaps Richard and Happy New Year from a very grateful Rob & Bec
Great service, all ways helpful,
And will even come round to your house and access your pool if your new to pool ownership. I get my pool watermelon tested there for free, and even when I don't need anything they tell me and I walk out feeling not pressurised to buy anything.
Thanks
I would like to add a review as I have just had a major upgrade done on all our equipement. I obtained quotes from a few other shops in the Mt Ommaney area and these guys are not only competetative in price but went that extra mile to make sure I was happy. The pool is now back to being something that the grandkids can really enjoy. Thanks to a really professional team.
I have tried to use this store a number of times but their prices are very high even for a pool shop. I recently contacted them to replace my pool pump with an eco friendly model. I was informed that these all break down quickly except for the one they sell at $1800, they also said my chlorinator was incompatible with zodiac eco pump and wanted to supply a normal pump for $600. They also told that eco pumps use enormous amount power on startup which I explained is not possible (fuse would trip), also eco pump is soft start so slowly ramps up power usage. I went elsewhere and was informed chlorinator was not an issue, got zodiac eco pump installed for $600 after rebate. I measured the power consumption and it uses 1/4 of the power (300W) a normal pump (1300W) uses (both including chlorinator). Pump has been going fine for months and has three year on site warranty. Pool has never been clearer.
I have come back to this store as it is now under new management, Richard is excellent and is always willing to help with a smile. Prices appear to have improved also. The pump I mentioned in the above review had a bearing issue after a couple of years, zodiac came and replaced the motor within two days no problems since, also still the same chlorinator and works fine - saving me a small fortune.
