Coffee and carrot and walnut cake!
Coffee was ok but not hot enough and the 'finish' was poor and uninviting.
Carrot cake was Devine.
Service was ok
Place is a mess and the music was too loud'
I would give a take away a go - but not impressed with sit in - dirty!

The little sister of Bourke Street Bakery serves up the same delicious sausage roll and hot chocolate. Disappointingly, service comes with a bit of an attitude. The 'depot' in its name suits the store - somewhat humble in appearance with visible trays of pre-baked pastries stored in the open kitchen. It is not the nicest cafe to sit in. Take-away is a better option.

Nothing like fresh pastry and a good cup of coffee in the morning before you start your workday. This place is good for lunch too - pies, sausage rolls, sandwiches and more.

My partner loved the pastries & I'm partial to the fresh sandwiches, reasonably priced for the city also. Never tried eat in, only done take away in the past.

Definitely worth a try. I always go for pastries here, they are great. Unfortunately it is often too busy. You don't have to wait so long but you there is often no space to sit down.
