Excellent location, in beautiful Nelson Bay. A bonus being both close to beaches and shops. I have not met the original managers mentioned in post below, however, new management are a lovely couple, who seem genuinly welcoming and pay particular attention to the small details, which makes all the difference between feeling like a customer or house guest.
I look forward to heading back to this beautiful area with my children in the near future and will be sure to stay at the Centura!
We stayed at the Central Motel as a family holiday and can not thank the new owners as they truly make sure your stay is a relaxing stress free holiday!!!
They assisted me with their local area knowledge and tours/activities to entertain the kiddies.
Rooms were spotless and had everything we needed.
Talk about location, location, location - It is the best spot in Nelson bay!!!

This is one of the best motels we have stayed in. I stay in motels all along the coast and the central is always on my list. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and accommodating. It is in a great location and I can park my car and walk to everything.
You must try it.
